About MYO

MYO, which stands for Make Your Own, began with a simple idea: beauty should be intentional, organized, and designed around real life.

Founded by Suzanne Carter, MYO first became known for creating innovative organization systems that helped professional makeup artists streamline their kits, reduce weight, and work more efficiently. What began as a personal project quickly evolved into a globally trusted brand used behind the scenes of productions such as Emily in Paris, The Voice, Broadway shows, and international fashion events.

Years later, while travelling to trade shows and industry events, Suzanne encountered another challenge that seemed impossible to ignore. Like many travelers, she found herself paying overweight baggage fees, struggling with airport liquid restrictions, and searching for a better way to travel with her favourite beauty products.

As the creators of organization solutions, we knew there had to be a better way.

When we began researching travel containers, travel toiletry containers, and travel cosmetic containers, we were surprised by what we found. Most products were either unnecessarily heavy or made from materials that didn’t meet our standards for quality, performance, or sustainability. We couldn’t find a solution we trusted with the skincare products we loved.

So we decided to create it ourselves.

Drawing on nearly a decade of experience designing organization systems, we spent months researching, testing, and refining every detail of what luxury travel containers should be. The result is the MYO Luxe Travel Collection—a thoughtfully designed system of travel makeup containers and travel containers for liquids that helps travelers bring the products they love without sacrificing organization, convenience, or peace of mind.
